Welcome!
The aim of this forum is to build a community of Jungian orientated thinkers creating and sharing posts predominantly of imagery and poetry. It's as much a creative space to share and discuss your pieces, as much as a space for circulating other's work.
The forum is in its infancy stage but with time it may develop into a collective wise man and great mother through symbolic communication. For every new post please comment on one other piece, as a general rule. If you particularly like a user's post please 'Exalt' them 'Kudos' for it, which you will find under their avatar. Click 'New Thread' in the top right corner of a board page to post something new.
Any feedback and ideas are very welcomed at this stage. If the forum takes off we can have a 'spotlight' board of the week's most inspirational/interesting posts. Also, if the forum becomes used enough we will be looking for moderators of particular boards; the professional nature of these moderators/mentors could enable our community a degree of peer review and academic input, as well as passion.
It's an exciting prospect to draw together like minded people, and especially in light of the transformational and integrating/awakening nature of Jungian thought and experience. We hope this space will aid the individuation path of members where we can all be part of the activation and fulfillment of our archetypal processes through symbolic communication of psyche and matter.

Dear Moderator, As co-editor of ARAS Connections, the quarterly electronic publication of ARAS Online, I would like to ask that ARAS Connections be included as one of the "journals"--we have been publishing for several years. We publish original articles on images, on poetry and base our work on our 17,000 image archive of symbolic imagery and archetypal commentary. Just a few days ago, we published the first Jungian graphic novel. I would hope that you could make room for ARAS Connections on your list of "journals"--since we have been working in precisely the area that you are interested in exploring in this new form. I wish your new site every success-- Tom Singer ARAS Connections

Hi Tom, Yes indeed, that will be no problem to do. Happy to provide a place for any additional discussion around ARAS' material and its Connections journal. Is the full Journal title 'ARAS Connections: Image and Archetype', or just 'ARAS Connections'.

Fantastic, thanks so much for creating this space. One request…could the category of "Music" be added (perhaps to the "Media" section)? This seems to be a neglected category within Jungian dialogue and expression worldwide and I've always wondered why. Hi, Joel. Yes indeed, that will be possible, and it sounds very intriguing. Looking forward to your posts when it's in place.

This is great! I'm looking forward to the conversations and creativity that will come out of this. I have a suggestion for another Board: Psyche and Nature. Need to let Nature have a place in the conversation, yes?

I've discovered that a person is allowed to give only one 'kudos' per hour. Any way to change that? As most folks probably only check out the site occasionally or once a day, this really limits feedback and interaction and cuts dynamic response to zero.

Hi Olivia,
The idea of a 'Nature and Psyche' board is a good idea. I'm thinking where it would fit in? As a poetry and prose board, imagery, or media? Also, I think the kudos per hour was the default so I will look to see if I can change it as I agree with your notice that most people will visit once a day, and Merry Christmas!

It seems like poetry & prose to me. I think images are part of many of your headings, don't you? All mixed up together. Glorious chaos!
